‘Avengers: Endgame’ Is Beating Out Box Office For Top Earnings

“Avengers: Endgame” is smashing box office records, pulling in a whopping $1 billion its opening weekend. The film is now set to break the box office records of “Avatar” and “Titanic,” which are among the highest-grossing films of all time.

“There is little sense in making a list of the various records that ‘Avengers: Endgame’ shattered over the last three days of domestic (and five days of international) play because the short answer is ‘all of them.’ With (as of this writing) $356 million domestic and $1.222 billion worldwide, the fourth Avengers movie demolished every conceivable box office record that it had a chance to beat,” Forbes.com reported.

“Avengers: Endgame” is rumored to be the last movie in the series. It features a star-studded cast, including Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlet Johansson as the Black Widow, and Chris Hemsworth as Thor.

On Monday, Chris Pratt, who plays Peter Quill, posted a behind-the-scenes video from the “Avengers” set on Twitter.

“I remember being blown away at this moment on the @avengers set. Nobody was allowed to film anything on their phones,” Pratt wrote, “I said screw it. No rule was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this collection of stars, a group that likely will never be in the same room again…We are so blessed.”
