1. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita – $4,800,000
It’s only fitting that the most expensive street-legal car in the world have a diamond exterior finish! With 1,004 hp and 797 pound-feet of torque, the Trevita’s performance and price are equally astounding.
2. Lamborghini Veneno – $4,500,000
Translated, this car’s name means ‘Poison’, and it’s deadly fast. With 740 hp, the Veneno can surge from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds.
3. Aston Martin AM-RB 001 – $3,900,000
Mase in conjunction with Red Bull Racing, the creators claim it will be the fastest street-legal car when it hits the road in 2018. It rides on a light carbon fiber structure and is powered by a V12 engine.
4. Lykan Hypersport – $3,400,000
The Hypersport features jewel encrusted headlights and scissor doors, making it both flashy and fast. Featured in Furious 7, the Hypersport goes from 0 to 62mph in just 2.8 seconds.
5. Bugatti Veyron by Mansory Vivere – $3,400,000
Mansory added a carbon-fiber body, upgraded LED lights, and a redesigned front grill from the original Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse Roadster. With 1,200 hp, the Veyron can do up to 254 mph.
6. Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio – $3,000,000
It may not be the most expensive car on the list, but considering only six were produced, it is one of the rarest. Each owner was chosen by the automaker itself, making it an invite-only vehicle.
7. Pegani Huaya BC – $2,800,000
Named for the Incan god of wind, this lightweight piece of art lives up to its name.
8. Bugatti Chiron – $2,700,000
At 261 mph, it’s just shy of being the fastest car in the world. but it might be the most stylish. And with a 8.0-liter W16 engine, the Chiron produces 1,500 horsepower.
