The number one way to get fit in the gym and save money at the same time is to check out local deals, such as ones listed on Groupon or LivingSocial. There are often really great intro offers at gyms as well.

There is no need to join the most expensive gym out there. Many studies have shown that when you are not active that you are more likely get sick at some point. Heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes are more prevalent in people who are sedentary. Having to buy and take multiple prescription medications, in addition to the fees for doctor’s visits add up quickly.
Eating healthy does not have to be expensive. You don’t have to buy everything that is organic, but have to spend your money wisely. Drinking water can save you a lot of money. The cost of diet sodas, carbonated waters and other bottled beverages really adds up. So stick to water and save your money.
