The actress was spotted leaving Los Angeles International Airport on Monday sporting a new look. Pinkett Smith decided it was time to get rid of her more traditional haircut and opted for something with a bit more of an edge. The 42 year old revealed her preference for a partly shaved head. Her hair is not completely shaved, leaving the top longer which can be styled in a number of different ways.

However, it was the couple’s daughter that previously made headlines with her own short hair look. Willow Smith went from ‘whipping her hair back and forth’ to not having much to whip at all. Both parents defended their daughter’s decision to cut her hair short and it now seems that Jada Pinkett Smith is following in her daughter’s footsteps.
