The in-home smart device is only getting smarter. Amazon’s Alexa will soon provide medical advice. In preparation for this launch, Amazon has created a new team under its Alexa division called “Health and Wellness.” The team is comprised of more than a dozen individuals and has a primary objective of discovering ways Alexa can help with healthcare. Diabetes management, care for moms and infants, and aging are three areas that have been discussed in regard to this project.
