Paris Fashion Week wrapped up its Spring/Summer 2027 season on October 6, bringing nine days of runway shows, designer collections, and celebrity appearances to a close.
Running from September 28 to October 6, the event featured major fashion houses including Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, and Hermès. While designers presented their visions for the coming season, the front rows attracted just as much attention, with actors, musicians, and international personalities making memorable appearances.
Chanel Brings Together Hollywood’s Biggest Names
Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2027 show on October 5 became one of the week’s most talked-about celebrity gatherings.
Nicole Kidman, Pedro Pascal, Dua Lipa, Ayo Edebiri, Marion Cotillard, and Alexa Demie were among the stars attending Matthieu Blazy’s latest presentation.
The collection revisited familiar Chanel elements, including tweed and tailored suits, with a lighter, more relaxed approach. Oversized seagull sculptures suspended above the runway added a theatrical touch to the presentation.
The celebrity-filled front row helped turn the event into one of the defining moments of the season.
Heidi Klum Shares a Family Fashion Milestone
One of the week’s more personal moments came when Heidi Klum attended the Vivienne Westwood show alongside her 16-year-old daughter, Lou Sulola Samuel.
The October 3 appearance marked Lou’s Paris Fashion Week debut, introducing her to the event alongside her supermodel mother.
Lou has largely remained outside the public spotlight, making the mother-daughter appearance particularly notable.
Rather than walking the runway, she experienced the presentation from the front row, joining the growing number of celebrity children making their first appearances at major fashion events.
Zendaya Makes a Statement at Louis Vuitton
Zendaya helped close Paris Fashion Week with a memorable appearance at Louis Vuitton’s October 6 presentation.
Instead of wearing an entirely new outfit, the actress brought back a custom ivory lace bolero jacket designed by Nicolas Ghesquière.
She had previously worn the piece during the Paris premiere of The Odyssey in July.
For Fashion Week, she styled it with a simple white tank top, straight-leg jeans, and pointed heels, giving the intricate jacket a more relaxed appearance.
The decision highlighted how luxury pieces can be reinterpreted rather than worn only once.
Dior Attracts an International Audience
Jonathan Anderson’s latest Dior presentation also attracted a prominent celebrity audience.
Rosalía, Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor-Joy, Cynthia Erivo, Greta Lee, Eileen Gu, and Mia Goth were among the guests attending the show.
Their appearances reflected the increasingly international nature of luxury fashion, where actors, musicians, and athletes play an important role in connecting established fashion houses with wider audiences.
The Runways Embrace Lighter Dressing
Beyond the celebrity appearances, the collections themselves revealed several noticeable directions for Spring/Summer 2027.
Lightweight fabrics, softer tailoring, fluid silhouettes, and airy designs appeared across multiple presentations.
At Chanel, traditional house codes were reworked with greater freedom of movement. Elsewhere, designers explored the relationship between practical dressing and more expressive fashion.
The season suggested a continued interest in clothing that combines craftsmanship with everyday wearability.
Front Rows Become Cultural Events
Celebrity attendance has long been part of Fashion Week, but its influence now extends well beyond the venue.
Photographs, interviews, and short videos circulate almost immediately, allowing audiences worldwide to follow the event.
For fashion houses, these appearances help connect runway collections with entertainment, popular culture, and social media.
Paris Ends Fashion Month on a High Note
As the final stop after New York, London, and Milan, Paris once again brought together established designers, emerging talent, and some of the world’s most recognizable personalities.
From Lou Samuel’s Fashion Week debut to Zendaya’s carefully restyled Louis Vuitton look, the season delivered moments that extended beyond the runway.
The Spring/Summer 2027 shows may have ended, but their influence on celebrity fashion, luxury branding, and upcoming wardrobe trends is only beginning.
