High school seniors are missing out on one of the biggest events of their lives, graduation. With more people practicing social distancing measures in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a majority of graduation ceremonies are being canceled or option for a virtual event.

The massive online event “Dear Class of 2020” will be a star-studded digital event to celebrate the graduates with some celebrity appearances including former first lady Michelle Obama, K-Pop band BTS, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, and more.

The event will also have some live performances by Lizzo, Camila Cabello, BTS, Megan Thee Stallion, and Doja Cat. Michelle Obama announced the event on Instagram saying, “… I know that none of you imagined you would be closing this chapter of your life through a computer or phone screen. But I still want to make sure you still get the celebration you deserve.”

The “Dear Class of 2020” event starts at 12 p.m. PST on June 6 on YouTube with commencement speakers including Lady Gaga, Barack Obama, and BTS. Other special guests including Kerry Washington, Alicia Keys, and Zendaya.
