Exchanging Compliments

Speaking after his televised annual news conference in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin talked about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“I think he is a very talented person but it’s not up to us. He is of course the leader in the United States elections. We of course welcome the fact that he wants to be more friendly to Russia and of course we value it very highly but of course his other actions, it’s not up to us to access his performance.
