As any Fortnite player can tell you, Fortnite is a game with a heavy emphasis on motion. You gotta stay moving if you don’t wanna get shot, after all, and that includes sliding down hills and bouncing high into the air. The latter case is especially important for one of the game’s current weekly quests. Here’s where to find lily pads in Fortnite.
Where to Find Lily Pads in Fortnite Answered
As part of the Week 4 quests for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, you need to personally located and utilize a handful of different means of bouncing around the map. These means include air vents, loose tires, and most relevant to today’s topic, lily pads. Rather than the small lily pads you’d see a frog perched on in real life, lily pads in Fortnite are massive in size, more than big enough to hold a player and quickly bounce them into the air.
To complete this part of the quest, all you need to do is find one lily pad and bounce off of it. As for where to find lily pads for bouncing purposes, I’ve got two words for you: Steamy Springs. If you visit the west shore of Steamy Springs, located near the southern point of the current map, you’ll find tons of lily pads floating in ponds and lakes, rife for bouncing. In the event Steamy Springs are too hot to venture to, you can also find a couple of lily pads in the waters to the northeast and southeast of Frenzy Fields.

Once you’ve successfully bounced off a lily pad, we might as well get the other bouncing methods checked off to complete the quest. As I mentioned before, the other things you need to bounce off of are air vents and tires. For air vents, your one-stop shop is Mega City, located slightly southeast of the island’s center. Nearly all of the buildings in Mega City have an air vent you can bounce off of on top of them. If you didn’t drop to Mega City at the start of the match, you can easily reach the rooftops via the city’s many grind rails.
As for tires, there is no hard and fast location to check, as they’re extremely common. Generally speaking, if you check near any building or location that’s automotive in nature, like a garage or a gas station, you’ll find some stacks of tires you can bounce off of. Bouncing is the only thing you can use these tires for at the moment, so you don’t need to worry about anyone taking them from you. They can be destroyed, however, so be mindful of any nearby firefights before you go bouncing.
Once you bounce on at least one of all three items, you’ll complete the quest. Of course, if you feel so inclined, you can go bouncing whenever you like. As a certain bouncy tiger once said, there’s never a bad time for bouncin’.
