Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint arrested

Defensive backs for the Ohio State football team, Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint, were taken into custody on felony rape and kidnapping charges. Both men were issued arrest warrants are being held in Franklin County’s main jail in Columbus.

According to court records, the crime was committed on February 4 and the details of the allegations have yet to be revealed. It has yet to be confirmed whether Riep and Wint have legal representation and there is no set bond but the men are due in court Thursday.

An Ohio State University representative released a statement saying, “We are aware that two of our students have been arrested and criminally charged. They have been suspended from all activities involving the football program. We will share more information when available.”
