How Samsung Is Creating Competition For The iPhone
Rumors have been circulating in the tech world, lately, that the new Samsung Galaxy will feature 4 camera lenses. Photo leaks of the Samsung Galaxy A9, which were released by Evan Blass, confirms that it is indeed true. The isn’t the first phone with more than one camera on the back. Huawei and LG phone brands both had three on the back. This is the first time a phone has had four though.
The leaks have showcased that the A9 will feature, an 8-megapixel, 120-degree wide angle lens; a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom; a 24-megapixel main lens; and a 5-megapixel “depth camera.” The 24-megapixel is essential for close-ups and long shots, artificial intelligence-powered scene recognition, and a depth lens.
This comes in handy for allowing users to manage a photo’s depth of field and focus. Other leaks have confirmed that the A9 will also encompass a 6.38-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, and a 3,720mAh battery. The A9 will also feature 128 gigabytes of storage and up to 512 gigabytes of expandable memory.
Samsung is really hoping to draw in consumers with this four camera phone. It’s one of their most ambitious products to date and expensive. For the standard version, it will cost $999.99. As for the one with more storage, that one will cost $1,249.99. The A9 is set to be released sometime this month.
