As smartphones have become more advanced and complex, shopping for them has become a more involved, potentially time-consuming process, especially for the less tech-savvy. Apple’s iPhones are no exception to this advancement, but in an effort to ensure everyone can get the kind of iPhone they want, Apple has introduced a new shopping assistance program.

This week, Apple launched Shop with a Specialist over Video, a new feature that allows you to connect with a live Apple associate over a video call while shopping for an iPhone on Apple’s official website. To ensure privacy, the video call is one-way; you can see the associate, but they can’t see you. As long as they are on the line, they will answer questions about the iPhone line and help you browse for the product you want.

“We’re constantly innovating to deliver an even more personalized experience for our customers, meeting them where they are to deliver the best of Apple,” Karen Rasmussen, Apple’s head of Retail Online, said on the company’s official blog. “With Shop with a Specialist over Video, our team members are excited to connect with customers and provide exceptional service as they learn about which iPhone best suits them.”
