It’s something many people were not hoping for but news has broke that American troops will be staying in Afghanistan a lot longer then expected.

Believe it or not American troops have already been on the ground there for fourteen years already and unfortunately the White House made their announcement saying they are about to stick around longer.

Later this morning we expect to hear from President Obama as we are hoping for him to discuss the two missions while the troops are there which is to root out Al Qaeda and train Afghan security forces. For more details be sure to check out the video above.
