Pop star Mariah Carey launched her new beverage in New York on Monday.
The singer has teamed up with music executive Kevin Liles to create the pink non-alcoholic drink that will take you directly inside Carey’s world via an app.
A Dream Come True For Mariah?
Apparently the multi-talented star has always had her heart set on getting into the beverage industry saying “I have always wanted to do something with a beverage because I’m always singing”.
Butterfly, the aptly named new drink, is being marketed as “A melodic beverage inspired by the magic of Mariah Carey”…or at least that’s what it says on the bottle.
According to the Elusive Chanteuse herself this beverage experience will be like having Mariah in the room with you and while we think that’s quite a bold claim to make we can’t say we aren’t intrigued by this latest business venture from the divalicious songstress.
The drink will soon be available at Walgreen’s locations nationwide.
