Tesla Twitter Account Taken Over by Hackers, Free Car Prank Posted
This past weekend hundreds of Tesla fans stood by their twitter accounts to see if they were going to get the message of a lifetime. They wanted to win the free car that Tesla apparently posted about on their twitter account.

However, what fans didn’t know was that the most talked about electric vehicle company in the tech world, Tesla Motors, suffered a hack targeting its Twitter account Saturday.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Tesla’s Twitter account was taken over by unknown parties, with the message, “This twitter is not ran by @chf060 and @rootworc,” and the Tesla name was replaced by #RIPPRGANG.
So, don’t be fooled, Tesla won’t be offering any free cars any time soon, sorry guys!
