Comedy Actress Amy Schumer Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Just hours after the birth of the Royal Baby, actress and comedian Amy Schumer welcomed her own little prince.

“10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born,” Schumer posted on Instagram, along with a picture of herself and husband Chris Fisher cradling their newborn.

“The comedian had a rough pregnancy, suffering the effects of hyperemesis gravidarum (acute morning sickness) throughout the nine months,” USA Today reported. “It forced her to cancel numerous shows but it also made for great Instagram posts and standup fodder.”

Despite her physical and emotional challenges during her pregnancy, Schumer maintained her sense of humor, frequently posting pictures of her growing belly on Instagram alongside snarky captions. “Feeling strong and beautiful today #didntpuke,” she wrote on March 30th, posing in a sports bra and underwear.

Schumer has often joked that her pregnancy feels like it’s lasting an eternity–so long, in fact, that many fans thought she had given birth already. Just three days ago, she posted a picture of her enormous bump with the caption, “Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I’ve been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I’m still pregnant. Well, imagine how I feel…”

Now that Schumer’s son has joined her earthside, hopefully, the star can rest easy and enjoy the transition to new motherhood.
