JME’s Advice To Make 2018 Better Than 2017
We are almost halfway through 2018 (yes, already), but it feels like we were just setting our New Year’s resolutions into motion yesterday. If this year hasn’t really felt as strong as you hoped it would, perhaps it’s time for some motivation. And boy, do we have the guy for you! Jamie Adenuga, or better known by his stage name of Jme, is an English grime MC. He is here with the motivation you need to make 2018 better than 2017. There’s still plenty of time.
Though he is now a well-known MC, he began his career creating mobile ringtones. You have to start somewhere, right? That’s why his words carry more weight than most…he really did start from the bottom. But, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t had some help along the way. The MC is a big family man, and credits his brother with helping him get where he is today. Jme has been in the game since 2007, and has done everything from rapping, to producing, to MC-ing to now owning his own label. As to co-founder of the crew and label “Boy Better Know,” Jme has really climbed the ranks with his brother Joseph by his side.
So, it comes as no surprise that Jme’s best advice for his viewers is related to family and friends, because where would be without them? His sage advice is to always, “check on your base.” He says checking on your family, your health, and your relationships is the best way to ensure happiness and success, no matter the time of year.
