Introducing the New T-Mobile
T-Mobile announced its official merger with Sprint Corporation for its new un-carrier service offering the New T-Mobile service with the new 5G network. This merger is apart of T-Mobile’s goal to create the world’s best broad and deep nationwide 5G network that will also provide better service for more rural and urban areas.
The new service will have 14 times more capacity in six years compared to the current service speeds while offering lower prices for quality service. The merging of the two carriers will drive an investment plan for $40 billion into the new business and network over the next three years, adding $43 billion in value for shareholders.
The plan for creating a 5G network has goals including a network that will have 14 times more capacity within six years, providing 5G to 99% of the U.S. population, and to provide coverage of 90% in rural areas with 5G speeds of 50 Mbps.
The New T-Mobile will also be offering a high-speed alternative to in-home broadband to compete in home internet against Big Cable. The new wireless in-home broadband service will overcome prior issues expanding wireline access, blanketing high-capacity coverage in difficult service areas.
It’s official, @Sprint is part of the T-Mobile family.
Now more than ever, you need a network that is 100% committed to keeping you connected. And together with Sprint, we’ll have:

T-Mobile will be using the same plan that they used for the Metro-PCS merger that was completed a year earlier than planned. Customer service will also be highly improved under the New T-Mobile, giving customers access to T-Mobile’s award-winning Team of Experts (TEX) to every customer experience center.
T-Mobile is also working hard to help during this difficult time of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic through launching the T-Mobile Connect plan no March 23, offering customers their lowest-priced plan ever. The New T-Mobile will also be launching the Connecting Heros Initiative that will offer free unlimited talk, text, and smartphone data for health care and community service workers. The New T-Mobile is also working on Project 10Million, delivering free hardware and internet access to 10 million households over the next five years.
