Netflix News With Narnia
The classic C.S. Lewis novel series, The Chronicles of Narnia, has been mostly quiet on the film and TV front since 2010. That silence will soon be coming to an end, though, as Netflix has announced that it has obtained the rights to the series and will be producing a bevy of streaming content full of lions, witches, and wardrobes. While no concrete plans have been released, Netflix has stated that they would like to produce both a series of films and episodic content with this franchise.
It’s interesting to note that Netflix has the rights to all seven books in the series. The furthest any previous attempt has ever gotten is the third book, which means that this could be the very first time all of them are adapted for screen.
