Ringo Starr Talks 1D Dis-member-ment!
Earlier this week it was reported that teen girl obsession Zayn Malik was leaving One Direction for good to pursue a solo career – and boy did the internet have an opinion on that! Hundreds upon hundreds of fans counted their days on Earth assuming the end times were near – is One Direction breaking up?!?!
But according to rock legend and former boy band member himself, Ringo Starr, 1D will be just fine without Zayn. If anyone can have an opinion on successful bands, it’s the Beatles. Ringo Starr gave a rare interview in which he expressed that the band will still carry on with success even with one less member.
Ringo also spoke about his upcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame joking that it was just an excuse for Paul McCartney to get out of the house.
Other inductees this year include Green Day, Bill Withers, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. The ceremony will be held on April 18th in Cleveland, Ohio.
