Robo-pong?
Think you’re the master at Ping Pong and none of your friends can beat you? Well, have you ever wondered what it would be like to play against a robot? Engadget’s Richard Lai gets a rematch with OMRON Corporation’s ping-pong robot at CEATEC 2014.
The robot is said to be undefeated and is one of the worlds most advanced pieces of technology out there for sports. Think you have what it takes?
Well, the robot will be up for matches but you have to catch him while you can as the robot is only featured in shows at the moment.
A little far in the future the machine maybe up for purchase and you may have your next training partner. Who knows! Be sure to check back and see the new advances and when it may become available in an area near you!
