Debate Update
Last night was another huge debate for the Republicans and of course it was more than entertaining. There were some clear winners and losers and some still linger in-between.
With that being said, some of the key highlights from the night were when Donald Trump and Ted Cruz went at it. One of the more spirited moments from the debate came when Cruz was asked what he meant when he said Trump had “New York values”. Cruz replied that only New Yorkers don’t know what New York values are, to which Trump delivered a paean to the spirit of sympathy and warmth that animated the city in the wake of September 11th……and let’s just say it defiantly pleased the crowd as Cruz was out of line.

Another huge moment was when Trump criticized if Cruz is even considered eligible to run for president considering his Canadian citizenship. Cruz ignored the comments and decided he was not going to feed into the whole situation as it may end him up close to disqualified.
Rubio was another candidate who had a big night taking every moment he could to talk bad about Cruz. He had a lot of strong points and was not taking no for an answer.
To close off the night Bush made it clear that they have to focus on the main goal and that is to defeat the Democrats and went on to say that no matter who wins the Republican party needs to back them 100% to make sure Hillary or Bernie don’t make it into office.
