No Show Biz For These Kids

When you are Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s kid, you’ve got a pretty good chance of inheriting an “entertainment gene” or two. The couple began dating in January 2007 and married in Fasano, Italy in October 2012.

As it turns out, it looks like their son Silas, who turns two in April, has “probably” inherited his parents’ talents, says Biel, the 34-year-old actress. “He’s definitely very charming,” she told me last night at the premiere of her new movie The Book of Love (in theaters in January). “It’s such a challenging existence being an artist,” Biel said. “I just want him to be happy with whatever he does.” The two-year-old somewhat made his big screen debut in The Book of Love. Jessica Biel was eight months pregnant with Silas when she shot the film. The director, Bill Purple jokes about how his goal the entire time was to make sure Biel didn’t go into labor.

There has also been speculation that the couple is expecting their second child. Ellen DeGeneres cleared up the rumor when Biel was a guest on her show. Ellen called Justin Timberlake and asked him about it, to which he responded, “I can’t wait to find out whose it is!” Biel admits that motherhood is the “most challenging job in the world, but also the most joyous.”
