Demi Lovato has had a busy year. First, she played a guest role on the reboot of Will & Grace. And on Instagram last night, Demi also hinted that she’s been hard at work on new music.

“he next time you hear from me, I’ll be singing…” Demi wrote on Instagram, alongside a black, blank image.

Lovato didn’t explain the meaning of the black square to her millions of fans. Regardless, other celebrities, including Will & Grace co-star Debra Messing, model Ashley Graham and Stranger Things star Millie Bobbie Brown, rejoiced at the news.

“YES!” Brown wrote.

Lovato has been hinting that she’s releasing new music for a while now. Three weeks ago, she wrote on Instagram, “Recording a song for my loyal #Lovatics. The ones who support me and whatever makes me happy…If you hating – that ain’t you.”

Back in September, Lovato implied that she was skipping the Video Music Awards to spend time in the recording studio.

“Okay I can’t tell you guys what I’m doing today (you’ll find out super soon tho) but it’s making me SO HAPPY, I’m having SO MUCH FUN and I can’t stop laughing,” she wrote. “Now go come up with your crazy a– theories as to what it might be.”
