Chase Rice slams Peter after the last episode of “The Bachelor”

On Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor, Peter Weber brought contestant Victoria Fuller on a date to Cedar Point, an amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. After riding the roller coasters, Weber and Fuller attended a surprise concert…featuring Fuller’s ex, Chase Rice.

After the episode aired, Rice slammed the show’s producers for setting up the awkward encounter. He told a radio show, Fitz in the Morning, that he worried about appearing on The Bachelor in the first place, but was reassured that everything would go smoothly.

“So I told my manager and my publicist, they were like, ‘don’t even worry about that…They’re not going to do that to you, that’s a weird coincidence, but they’re not gonna–there’s no way they would do that to you. They’ve never brought somebody else in like that, surprised the guest on the show,” Rice told the radio hosts. “So the fact they did that to me, it’s over the top, it’s unnecessary, I didn’t expect it. But at the end of the day, it happened.”

Rice said he was “pissed off” because he thought he was appearing on the episode to showcase his music, not to be part of an awkward scene with a former flame.

During the episode, Fuller was upset upon encountering Rice. The bachelor, Peter Weber, took it in stride, telling Fuller he didn’t hold her past mistakes against her.
