Grande canceled the concert due to health issues and wanted to treat her fans
Ariana Grande has been struggling with physical and emotional health issues lately, including PTSD after her London concert was bombed two years ago. But Ariana is still thinking of her fans. In fact, she even bought them lunch after canceling a show in Kentucky for health reasons.
Grande canceled the show seven hours in advance, citing “severe sinus pain.” Grande tweeted, “I’m just in a lot of pain and it’s difficult to breathe during the show. I just really don’t know what’s happening with my body right now and need to figure it out.”
But a group of fans met up at Rupp Arena anyway. Grande showed up, too, and offered to take them to lunch. “So we all met up at Rupp Arena, took a bunch of pictures, laughed, talked, basically made a sad situation into a happier one,” one fan told the local news.
After they met the singer, Ariana’s fans tweeted messages of gratitude on social media. “Today was unreal. so grateful for everyone and @ArianaGrande for bringing us all together,” @needyshells tweeted.
“@ArianaGrande thank you sm for lunch today. We all were so happy; you have no idea. This memory will live with us forever,” wrote another fan, @gwsmarcos.
