The Billboard Music Awards took place last night at the MGM Garden Grand Arena in Las Vegas. Unforgettable performances were made by legendary singer Janet Jackson and female rap group Salt N Peppa. Some award winners included Ed Sheeran and new artist Khalid. Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance and was honored with “top selling album” as well as “top female artist.”

Janet Jackson stole the show by snagging the 7th ever “Billboard Icon Award.” She then performed a medley of songs, which marked her first onstage performance in over a decade. Other artists who permed at the award show included Ariana Grande, BTS, Maren Morris, Sean Mendes, Camila Cabello, and more. The night was hosted by music powerhouse Kelly Clarkson.
