Spoiler Alert!
Cliffhangers, love them or hate them they stay in our heads like the theme to Titanic, but that’s history! It’s time to prep for fall by counting down the top five cliffhangers from this past spring. Here to break it down for you is certified TV cram master Ricky Camilleri!
#5: Lucifer
For those of you who don’t know it’s a series based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg. This series follows Lucifer, the original fallen angel, who has been unhappy with his life down under. And spoiler alert….Lucifer just got his wings back after what was potentially ramping up to become a coming clean moment between him and Chloe Decker, Lucifer gets hit on the head and wakes up in the desert. What exactly happened? We have so many unanswered questions, but have no fear because they will all be answered starting October 2nd on Fox!
#4: Arrow
Arrow is a show that is about a presumed-dead billionaire playboy Oliver Queen who returns home after five years being stranded on a remote island. When he reconnects with those closest to him is when all the drama begins to go down. Adrian Chase wires the island with explosives trying to take everyone out…and it worked. For more, check out Arrow on CW premiering on October 19th.
#3: The Walking Dead
The most epic show is returning this fall and it’s The Walking Dead. The show is based on the comic book series and its drama portrays life in the weeks following a zombie apocalypse. Rick Grimes, police officer, and his family along with a group of other survivors find themselves on the move in search of a secure home. The last season left us in real anticipation between the saviors vs. everyone else. To find out more, check out The Walking Dead on AMC this October 22nd.
#2: The Big Bang Theory
This is a classic. Roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, know a little more than they should about science, but getting through the most basic social situations can be a struggle to say the least. In the last season which is our favorite so far, the nerd gang is freaking out over Sheldon. Why? Because he’s in a normal relationship with Amy! Amy lives far away so Sheldon sets off on a journey to ask Amy to marry him…yes you read that right! Does she say yes? Check out the premiere on September 25th..
#1: Riverdale
Archie Andres starts the school year with the world weighing on his shoulders. He’s decided he wants to pursue a future in the music business, but his relationship that recently ended with his music teacher has left him without a mentor. Their first season was amazing, but left us with the biggest question of all…who shot Luke Perry?! Find out more on CW, October 11th!
As you can see we are heading into this fall with many unanswered questions. For more be sure to do some catching up on the last season and be prepared for all of the greatness that’s to come!
