Casting Mrs. Clinton
We all know Hillary Clinton is a “take charge” kind of lady when it comes to government, so it should come as no surprise that she’s already basically casted the leading lady of her not-yet-created biopic.
The former secretary of state and potential presidential candidate revealed her choice during an interview with The Guardian.
Should a movie ever be made about her, Hillary Clinton said she would like to be played by Meryl Streep. Clinton’s zeal for Streep to play her it’s exactly shocking since the pair are actually quite friendly with each other.
In fact, at the Women in the World Summit in 2012 Streep even pointed out their similarities saying “We’re roughly the same age, we both have two brothers — mine are annoying — we both grew up in middle-class homes with spirited, big-hearted mothers who encouraged us to do something valuable and interesting with our lives. We both went from public high schools to distinguished women’s colleges. … We both went on to graduate school at Yale.”
Seems like Hillary choose very wisely indeed and we can’t say we’re not excited at the prospect of the film. Heck we’ll even go so far as to predict that Meryl will probably get an Oscar nom for her role in “Hillary” the movie.
