Up Up And Away
If you love science and you love space well then you have to check this out! A Canadian company called Thoth Technology has secured a patent in the US and UK for a 12-mile high space elevator.
The elevator could transport passengers to the top of the tower in about an hour, where a person could then board a space plane and reach lower orbit.
The company is currently working on a Canadian patent and they are hopeful they will obtain one in the near future. There are still many questions that need to be worked out like wind factors and making sure it’s not in anyone’s path but that is all being worked out as we speak!
