Uber
Uber’s CEO Travis Kalanick talks about the company’s investments in driverless technology. He tells of how Google has also been investing in this technology for years. His motivation is that a million people a year die in cars and millions more get injured, as well as the needless stress of driving and traffic that people deal with every day. Being from Los Angeles himself, Kalanick has spent years stuck in traffic. He feels this new technology will reduce traffic and give people their time back. He wants to keep up with other companies such as Google, Tesla, and Apple who are rolling with this technology.
