Tom Brady Wants More Out of the Buccaneers

It’s something of an unwritten rule of the NFL that whatever team Tom Brady is on is invariably going to become one of the best teams in the league. Indeed, since he joined up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they’ve been on a hot streak. Since the beginning of the new football season, the Buccs are currently 2-0 after a 48-25 victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Counting the previous season, the Buccs are currently on a nine-game winning streak, but Brady thinks they can do even better.

“What I think, and I’m sure other guys feel the same way, is I think we can do better. I really do,” Brady, who threw five of the game’s touchdowns on Sunday, told Jenna Laine of ESPN.com. “And I really think we have the opportunity, with the way that the games are flowing and the opportunities we’re getting with the ball — we have even more.”

The Buccs’ head coach, Bruce Arians, echoed Brady’s sentiments, saying that while they were undeniably playing well, they have yet to “get close to playing consistently.” Does make you wonder, though, if this recent performance isn’t the Buccs at their best, then what kind of incredible results could they turn in when they are?
