The NFL announces big plans for Super Bowl LV

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in a majority of large sporting events to be canceled or postponed but the biggest night in football will go on as planned. That’s right, the NFL just confirmed that they will be hosting Super Bowl LV in February 2021 and they will also be hosting a special halftime show performer.

The Weeknd will be performing for the Super Bowl LV halftime show that will take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The NFL revealed the Super Bowl is planning to take place on February 7, 2021 that will air on CBS.

The Emmy-nominated producer Jesse Collins will be working in partnership with Roc nation as co-executive producers of the halftime show for one memorable performance. Super Bowl LV will be the second year that Roc Nation, NFL, and Pepsi will be collaborating for a memorable half time show.
