Need help financially? Well there are plenty of non-profit organizations standing by to help you. But how do you know which one to choose?

When contacting a credit counselor there are a few questions that you should ask them to make sure they are legit and really have you and your money in their best interest. For example, you should be asking are you accredited. Then ask about their fees and how their help will affect your credit.
