Songbird and rapper team up for new collab song

Rapper Nicki Minaj says she’s working on a collaboration with singer Adele–and says the results will be “epic.” However, Minaj also says she’s been sworn to secrecy on the details of the project.

When Entertainment Tonight asked Minaj if she was indeed collaborating with Adele, the rapper responded, “Yes and yes, yes and yes, wooo hoo! Adele made me swear to secrecy that I’m not allowed to tell anyone, that I’m working with her and we already shot a music video and it’s an epic song.”

This isn’t Adele’s first introduction to the world of rap, however. Recently, the single mom started dating UK rapper Skepta. She even posted a photo of him on Instagram and gushed about her love for her new boyfriend.

“I have love in abundance for this strong, sweet and honest man. I’m so proud of him, Stormzy just monumentally headlined Glastonbury in his own right with one album!! The first Grime artist ever to do so, you respected everyone that opened the door for you whilst opening a huge one yourself. You and your team are all so good, hard working and beautiful and deserve everything that comes your way. Its been a joy to watch you unfold at lightning speed with absolute grace,” Adele wrote beside the photo.
