Airports can be packed and overcrowded, wasting a lot of time with the possibility of missing your flight. LAX unveiled its private terminal for the ultimate luxury air travel experience.
The idea behind the new terminal offers passengers the chance to upgrade their experience to check-in at the private terminal. The Private Suite of LAX opened in 2017 offering passengers a secure, private terminal with financial options starting at $4,000.
The Private Suite is two miles from LAX and offers 12 individual private suites with the program coordinated with 70 airlines. The Private Suite also has its own TSA check and a fleet of BMWs that drives passengers right up to their airplane.
The location is highly secure which is why they have a huge list of celebrities that love their service. When guests arrive, they’re assigned a team of eight people for a true VIP service including valeting the car, checking in baggage, and handling everything for check-in while guests are escorted to the private suite.
Each of the private suites offers the amenities of a hotel room including a full-stocked kitchenette including wine and champagne of course. They also offer guests a curated menu that you can order ahead of time so it’s ready on arrival.
Each private suite also offers a candy bar with bags that you can take with you on the flight. The suite also has a private bathroom with full-stocked toiletries.
They also offer guests a spa experience with a facility including showers with the option to book a complimentary massage, haircut, and manicure that can also be done in the suite.
Each suite also offers a variety of products that you might have forgotten at home to enjoy your flight including power adapters, travel pillows, and over-the-counter medication. One suite even has a backyard with a putting green, teepees, and cornhole.
The guests are notified when it’s time for take-off and go through the private TSA security check that only takes a few minutes. Once cleared through security, the guest is escorted to a 7 Series BMW that drives the guest across the tarmac to their flight.
This program is only successful through a lot of planning and security to ensure safety and privacy for guests. The Private Suite company also working around meticulous timing and planning, having to know everything about the timing for the guest for the guest’s assigned team.
