New Spinoff – Birds of Prey
After seeing “Suicide Squad” many are looking forward to the anticipated sequel but are looking more forward to the Harley Quinn spinoff movie, with new details revealed.
Actor Margot Robbie who played Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad will be the main focus of the new spinoff, including other females characters from the DC comic universe. The new movie title has released and will be entitled “Birds of Prey.”
The new movie will feature strong female characters that joins Harley Quinn’s gang including Black Canary, Cassandra Cain, Huntress, and Renee Montoya. The new movie will feature villains from batman comics that have not been featured in any previous Batman films.
They have confirmed that they will start filming in January 2019 with the delay due to Will Smith’s schedule, hinting that he will have some involvement in the new film. The director was also confirmed in April saying that filmmaker Cathy Yan will be responsible for the upcoming film.
There are few details on the premise of the new film other than the involvement of Harley Quinn but Robbie says that she wants the new film to be rated R, insisting that this new film will be action packed.
