News For Android Users
Google has made some recent moves in order to try a new branding technique. The tech giant released an update for its android pay app on Tuesday. The update includes the ability for users to see stores in their area that accept Google Pay, in hopes to make usage of the app increase as well as increase accessibility for customers.
Not only does this new branding effort update include locations near you that accept Google Pay, it will also store your purchase data and history. That way you can see a list of previous purchases as well as frequented stores. This update does not affect Google Wallet. Google Wallet will remain the same as it is, though it has been renamed to Google Pay Send. Reports say that users will be able to send and receive money with Google Pay Send, but that function won’t be combined with Google Pay until later on.
If you have an android device, the app is available for download now!
