copsraidbiebershouse1Eleven L.A. County Sheriff’s patrol cars descended on Justin Bieber’s house Tuesday morning and executed a search warrant in connection with an egg-throwing incident the occurred in his Calabasas, California gated community.

Lieutenant David Thompson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has said that Justin Bieber’s house had been searched, after the singer was accused of throwing eggs at a neighbor’s house.

Detectives searched Justin Bieber’s home looking for surveillance footage, egg cartons, or anything else that might serve as evidence the pop star was involved in the egg-tossing vandalism case that caused thousands of dollars in damages to the exterior of his neighbor’s home.

Egg-Gate

The egging incident rapidly being dubbed “egg-gate”, occurred on Jan. 10 when the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed they received a call from Bieber’s community involving claims that the music megastar had egged a home the night before.

According to the unnamed neighbor he was upstairs with his daughter at about 7:30 pm when the unprovoked attack began. The man went on to say “We began to hear something hitting the house, like rocks and things crashing into the window.”. After which the man says he went outside and saw Justin standing there, throwing eggs at his home.

The man says his daughter was very frightened during the attack and he has no idea what would cause Justin to do this. The homeowner claims the damages from the egg tossing act of vandalism clock in at a staggering $20,000.

While $20,000 may be a mere drop in the bucket to a superstar like Bieber, the cost actually could land the 19-year-old singer in hot water. This is because in California any vandalism causing damages totaling over $400 can be deemed a felony, which doesn’t sound too good for Bieber.

During the police raid on Bieber’s home his BFF Lil Za (real name Xavier Smith) was arrested on what was initial thought to be possession of cocaine but was later revealed to be a powdered form of ecstasy known as Molly.

According to police reports the drugs were in plain sight during the raid but they have deemed that the drugs had no connection or relation to Bieber himself.

TMZ reports that Lil Za was arrested onsite and taken into custody where he was later re-arrest while in jail for allegedly becoming violent and crushing a phone just moments before posting bail.

Since The Biebs probably isn’t the LAPD’s favorite person right now it’s probably best if the Canada native lays low and sticks to scrambling his eggs instead of hurling them.
