The “Anger Management” star, Charlie Sheen, gifted actress Lindsay Lohan $100,000 after spending one day with her on the set of “Scary Movie 5” in September. Sheen explains that producers offered him $500,000 to play himself for a few short hours in the film and then the wages decreased once they decided to add Lohan to the scene. He was then informed his salary would be cut to $250,000 in order to pay Lohan, with whom he shared a comedic bedroom scene with in the movie. When Sheen asked Lohan what she would be earning for the scene, she replied that she was only getting $100,000. Sheen decided to pay it forward, stating, “So I just gave her $100,000 of their money.”
Did Lohan Say Thanks?
Lohan, who has had several recent run-ins with the law, more recently for her owing back taxes of $233,904 to the government, probably found the $100,000 to come in very handy for the actress to help pay some of her costs. Many people want to know if she thanked Sheen for the giving of the generous check, however, they would be surprised to know that she never verbally said thank you to the actor for his kind gesture. Lohan reportedly sent Sheen a bouquet of flowers to his L.A. home, three months later in December, after he publicly complained about her not saying thank you to him for the action.
How Did Charlie Feel After Giving Lohan the Money?
Sheen was probably not surprised that Lohan didn’t say thanks; according to sources she was unpleasant on the set as well. Sheen stated, “I felt bad for her. I was with some of her team the night before making sure she got on this plane, and all I wanted to do was rehearse the scene with her one-on-one because I have a lot of experience in this genre. But I couldn’t get her to rehearse it, so we only met in the makeup trailer about five minutes before shooting. She was shy and vulnerable, but her instincts are dead on.” Although Sheen didn’t get the thank you he so desired, he was happy to do the movie with the actress. His only wish was that he wanted her to ask him about fixing up her reputation after fighting through so much controversy and judgment. He felt that the two had several things in common, and that he would have loved for her to pick his brain.
Scary Movies
The Scary Movie series is notorious for its comedic parodies of current scary movie films. The movies usually include guest star appearances, making the movies more entertaining. Scary Movie 5 is about a couple who begins to experience some strange activity in their house after coming home with their infant from the hospital. Their home security system and a team of experts help them to discover that they are being tormented by a demon. Charlie Sheen has also appeared in Scary Movie 3 in 2003 as Tom Logan, and he also appeared in Scary Movie 4 in 2006. This will be Lindsay’s first time appearing in a Scary Movie film.
