Kutcher is returning for the Netflix spin-off That ’90s Show.
Netflix is currently developing That ’90s Show, a spin-off series to the classic sitcom That ’70s Show. The new series will focus on the children of the original cast visiting their grandparents for the summer, played by returning cast members Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, to showcase and spotlight the cultural highlights of the 90s.

While they aren’t the focus of the show this time, several members of the original cast are returning as their original characters as cameos. Two of those members are Ashton Kutcher and his wife Mila Kunis, and for them, returning to the classic set has been an interesting experience.
“It was really nostalgic to be back on the set,” Kutcher told Variety at the premiere of Vengeance on Monday. “It’s all the same folks that made That ’70s Show, so it was pretty bizarre.”
"We’re only in the position that we’re in because of that show … We just went back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun”

“Mila and I were contemplating it,” Kutcher said. “We thought, ‘Listen, we’re only in the position that we’re in because of that show, so let’s just go back and do this. We just went back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun.”
While the notion of a That ’70s Show revival has been tried before to mixed response, Kutcher is confident in this new series. “It’s really funny. The new cast is phenomenal,” he said.
