Ten Years Of A Milestone
It’s been ten years since the launch of Google Chrome. The expectations of the success of Chrome were unexpected because it was an experiment. In fact, the browser was exclusively only available to windows for beta testing.
Soon after, Chrome made its way to Linux and Mac OS in 2009. Many grey, tiresome of the technical issues of Internet Explorer and Fire Fox, which helped Chromes success. Chrome didn’t have the issues its other competitors had. For example, the feature known as “sandboxing” hindered all of tabs from crashing, if one didn’t work. Chromes speed increased because of this. Moreover, Googles V8 Java Script also improved.
Chrome borrowed a little from Apple and Fire Fox. They used components from Apple’s tool kit engine with components from Fire Fox to help bring it to life. Ten years later, Google Chrome shows no momentum of slowing down.
It has secured more than 60 percent of browser market share on desktop. Furthermore, it runs on multiple platforms such as Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
