Highlights From The Gala

The annual TIME 100 Gala took place April 24th, honoring 100 of the world’s most influential people. This year’s iconic list was studded with both household names and lesser known difference-making members of society.Some of the honorees included Nicole Kidman, Cardi B, Chloe Kim and members of the “Me Too” and “Never Again” movements. The tone of the 2018 gala seemed to appropriately be that of social change.

Many honored guests made inspiring toasts, while others performed their musical hits. Some of the evening’s highlights were Sean Mendes’ emotional performance of “In My Blood,” JLo’s lively performance of “Let’s Get Loud” as well as uplifting speeches delivered by actor Sterling K. Brown, Olympian Adam Rippon and “Me Too” founder Tarana Burke. It was a night of unity, positivity and empowerment.
