The Future Of Technology
Have you ever wondered why car companies, with all the technology they use, could never come up with a good enough reason to help the blind navigate the world like everyone else? Well, that’s about to change because Toyota, a Japanese car company, is doing just that and they’re calling it Project Blaid.
The device will be equipped with voice recognition and will feature cameras to help navigate the person’s surroundings. Toyota is hoping that this product will eventually include mapping and facial-recognition technologies.
Toyota is also looking into how Project Blaid’s core technologies can be applied to self-driving cars. A good deed indeed, but not without benefit for Toyota!
