The Weeknd has big plans for 2022

The Weeknd announced his newly rescheduled After Hours World Tour dates for 2022 with performances of hits from the “After Hours” album and other popular songs featured in “The Highlights” album. Shortly after The Weeknd performed for the Super Bowl LV halftime show, he announced the release of a new album featuring his best hits called “The Highlights.”

The After Hours 2022 World Tour will feature 64 shows in 55 cities for the North American leg and 41 shows across 36 cities for the European leg nearly two years after the release of “After Hours.” The original After Hours tour was set for 2020 but the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic delayed or canceled all major events.

The After Hours World Tour will start the North American leg of the tour on January 14, 2022, with the first show in Vancouver, British Columbia. The tour will be fulfilling previously postponed shows and The Weeknd will be performing more dates in Chicago, Brooklyn, and Boston.

The Weeknd will also be performing at brand new venues including the UBS arena in New York and Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. Tickets for the After Hours 2020 World Tour announced the sale of tickets shortly after The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV halftime performance and previously purchased tickets for the After Hours tour will be valid for the rescheduled show date.

Though the tour is nearly one year away, fans can listen to the “The Highlights” album that was curated by The Weeknd that inspired his Super Bowl LV halftime performance.
