Buscemi in a Band?

In this episode of ‘Park Bench’, Steve Buscemi is back on the streets of New York City and this time he wants to start a band. Leave it to Buscemi to find a cool funky New York sound that nobody has heard before.

In the process he also finds a cohost for the day – Mark Boone Junior. Junior, who is best known for his work in ‘Sons of Anarchy’, is just hanging out at the local dive bar when Buscemi stumbles his way inside with hopes of finding his band. Junior turns out to be equally as absurd at Buscemi in the best way possible.

Their cohosting topics range from beer to milk to the idea of being lactose intolerant (or lack toast?). After some light conversation which would leave most confused – Buscemi once again sets out to discover some hot new NYC music. Luckily for him a band turns out to be playing in that very bar he and Junior are drinking beer in, and who does it turn out to be – none other than Puss n Boots led by Norah Jones.

Buscemi thinks he has finally stumbled upon New York’s best kept secret, and while Puss n Boots may have a few more fans than just Buscemi and Junior – if Steve Buscemi wants to give you a stamp of approval, you take it.

Steve loves the new sound but realizes something that would make it even better, him. Buscemi jumps right in for a few songs with the folky trio much to the delight of all his viewers. Steve Buscemi: taking on the music world one band at a time.
