Life As We Know It Could Be Forever Changed
It’s a find that many were hoping for but none were expecting. NASA’s Kepler space telescope has come across a potential earth-like planet that might harbor life.
This older, bigger earth “cousin” is called Kepler-452b. It orbits its home star at a similar distance that Earth orbits the sun. The exoplanet may resemble earth more closely than any other scientists have found. Kepler-452b may be Earth’s close cousin, but living on the newfound world would still be an alien experience.
Scientists are even saying that living on this planet would make you stronger and that our bones would actually get stronger almost like a workout everyday due to the amount of pressure. The high-gravity environment would probably also lead to significant changes in our bodies over long time spans and over many generations. Although the investigation is still underway scientists are heavily intrigued to learn more.
