Miley Cyrus, in a downright honest interview with Sunday People admitted she had issues to deal with, and her life is not at all as perfect as what outsiders see it to be. “I have so many f***ing issues,” she was quoted saying the “F” word to describe her life at present.
When Tongues Wag
The 20-year-old singer/actress, who shot to fame due to her Disney show Hannah Montana, was involved in a series of controversies lately – from the recently concluded MTV Music Video Awards last August 26th where she donned nude undies and danced provocatively around singer Robin Thicke, to her hot of the press photo shoot where her captured images left so little for the viewer’s imagination.
These events have sent tongues wagging, including a number of celebrities. Some have expressed contempt for her while others have voiced out concerns for her welfare, lining her up with troubled stars like Britney Spears, Amanda Bynes and Lindsey Lohan who all have started in their showbiz careers at a very young age like Miley. Her VMAs act had even fired up Twitter as young viewers tagged her as “embarrassing”, “scary” and “disturbing”. Talks fired up again when days just after her near-nude VMAs act, she was seen wearing pajamas complete with fluffy unicorn slippers as she waited for an airplane lift at Teterboro Airport, New Jersey.
Disappointments
It was even reported that her fiancée, Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth, was very disappointed with her VMAs performance and the two are currently “on the rocks” in their relationship.
According to sources, Miley and Liam had a big fight on the day of the show which made her act out more in the stage. The rumors went as far as to say that even Liam’s family, who are quite conservative, was shocked seeing Miley’s twerks during the awards night and felt letdown by her performance.
Her Answers
So, with all these overwhelming things going on around her, how is she? “I am so f***ed up – everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up. I don’t have a normal life. I take a hiatus every now and again but I’m not good at that,” she admitted in the interview. She went on to say that her life is far from normal and her pop star life, with all its harried frantic going-on, might just be the reason behind the times she goes ballistic and out of control.
She reveals her life only, at times, allow her to sleep for 45 minutes but she is used to it – her being a workhorse. She even stated that she can’t go on a vacation since she finds it boring and antsy for something to do. As for her being pitted with the meltdowns of Spears, Bynes and Lohan, she clearly said she was never the goodie-two-shoes character (referring to Hannah Montana) she played.
She said: “During Hannah Montana I think people knew I was acting. I’ve never been able to hide anything, a bit like Justin Bieber. Others who have been on kids’ shows try to act like their characters – but I’m not like that. I never pretended I was as good as the Disney Channel writes. I don’t wear bright-colored T-shirts and talk like this all the time.”
