Say “Hooray” For Same-Day Deliver
Calling all ladies, and men who completely forget about special events like anniversaries or Valentines Day, this is for you!
Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s plan to test same-day delivery for products purchased on their websites, parent company Macy’s Inc. announced Monday, joining the growing ranks of retailers trying to compete with superfast delivery options offered by e-commerce sites like Amazon.com.
This new method is said to be a global change for shopping. These companies are also now using drones, which will assist in the process. Many have invested in this process and it is said to start testing in the next couple of months.
People are hoping that this could be an economy boost if this were to succeed, as people would be willing to buy and receive same day.
No more rushing to find a dress that normally will ship within a couple of weeks or months. As the holidays are approaching be sure check it out!
