The Battle Begins

Breaking news this week has come out about Jay-Z landing himself in court. But don’t worry it’s not for anything recent. The hip-hop star testified in court for a 2007 lawsuit that was filed against him and producer Timberland.

The complaint says that the two used an unclear sample in Jay-Z’s 1999 hit “Big Pimpin.” “Big Pimpin” is from an old Egyptian song and the singers relatives are actually the plaintiffs in the case. There are so many issues that are arising in the case such as international issues being depicted by the US court.
